This Madagascan Agate is from a relatively new find. Agate primarily consists of Chalcedony and Quartz and is usually formed within volcanic and metamorphic rocks. Some Agates do not have bands. They are often translucent Agates with plume shaped, dendritic or mossy inclusions.
