Faden Quartz is a type of Quartz and silicon dioxide crystal normally found in crevasses of metamorphic rock formations. During the growth of these crystals there are interruptions and changes that effect the evolution of the crystal and this is seen as one or more inclusions of white thread-like fibrous formations.
