The Sun will be shifting into the earthy and structured realms of Capricorn at 15.59 (GMT) on Tuesday 21st December 2021, the same day as the Winter Solstice. Capricorn is ruled by the planet Saturn (The Lord of Karma), helping us to dedicate ourselves to discipline and responsibility so we can achieve our goals. This is what gives Capricorn its outlook on life.
What is the Sun in Capricorn?
Every time the Sun changes signs by moving from one constellation to another so does the energy that becomes available to us. Following on from the fun and free-spirited energy of Sagittarius, we drop down into the persistent and goal-orientated energy of Capricorn. If you are an Earth or Water sign this might be a welcome relief!
Capricorn, represented by the mountain goat, wants to climb to the top of the mountain and won't stop until it gets there. Keeping the goal in sight is very persistent and just keeps on keeping on!
